SUMMIT Juniors Volleyball is a not-for-profit organization sanctioned by the North Country Region (NCR) of USA Volleyball (USAV). We support and promote competitive volleyball for young women between the ages of 11 (or currently in 5th grade) and 18 who live in Fargo/Moorhead and the surrounding communities. We are a "conglomerate" volleyball club and are not affiliated with any particular school.

Our address:

SUMMIT Juniors Volleyball
PO Box 10212
Fargo, ND 58106-0212

Our mission is to be the premiere juniors volleyball club in the Fargo/Moorhead area by offering the highest quality and competitive program.

SUMMIT Juniors Volleyball is a competitive club. We partner with our athletes, coaches, parents, NCR, and USAV. We encourage teamwork, respect, responsibility, discipline, and positive attitudes in a safe, learning environment. We believe in fair play, sportsmanship, working hard and having fun. We strive to offer a high quality program at an affordable price.

Program Overview:
SUMMIT Juniors is a competitive program, not a recreational program. Coaches will focus on playing strategies and player involvement for the optimum performance of the team as a whole. We do not guarantee equal playing time on teams competing in our 14s through 18s programs. Coaches will determine player positions based on the skill of each player and the need of the team. Our goal is to provide the best Juniors volleyball experience for all athletes in our program.

Our objectives:
SUMMIT Juniors seeks to be recognized as one of the finest volleyball organizations in the region. This will be accomplished by:

~ Providing quality training that enhances and develops the skills of our athletes. Through participation
in our program, an athlete will benefit physically, emotionally, and socially.

~ Developing competitive teams whereby recognition is gained through winning and team

~ Encouraging and helping our athletes pursue higher education.

~ Training quality coaches to be teachers of the game and maintain strong discipline, while creating
   a positive environment.

What the Board Does:
The Board is responsible for the daily operations of SUMMIT Juniors Volleyball, or the club. Some of the club's duties include finances, setting up practices, registering players and teams with USAV, (USA Volleyball,) through NCR, (The North Country Region,) hiring and managing coaches, scheduling and registering for tournaments, ordering equipment, securing facilities for practices, fund raising, and keeping parents and players informed. Since the club is sanctioned by USAV/NCR, we strictly follow NCR's Club Responsibilities.
