Summit Junior Volleyball


At Summit Junior Volleyball Club we strive to find the most qualified coaches to help our players reach their potential as students, athletes, and leaders in their communities.

Bob jones
Head Coach for team 18-Bob. 

Coach Bob is from Detroit Lakes, MN and loves spending time at the lake with family and friends. He played for Chapman University as an outside hitter and has been coaching volleyball for many years. He was an assistant coach at Concordia College before becoming the assistant at MSUM. He is currently the Head Coach at MSUM (3 years).

Some of Bob’s hobbies outside of volleyball include fishing and playing practical jokes on his friends.

Addie Colligan
Assistant Coach for team 18-Bob. 

Coach Addie is from Bemidji, MN. She played for Bemidji High School for 5 years, and played for MSUM (2 years) where she was a setter and defensive specialist for the Dragons. Addie has coached the Bemidji club teams in the past, and this is her first year coaching for Summit.

Some of Addie’s hobbies include Real Estate, traveling, and reading. Her favorite book is ‘Atomic Habits’ and her biggest take away is “to fulfill your potential and design your environment for success”.

Fun facts: Addie has 5 older siblings and her mom was the Bemidji High School coach.
Nick Meseck
Head Coach for team 16-Nick. 

Coach Nick is originally from Madison, MN. He attended MSUM where he long, triple, and high jumped for the Track and Field team. He found a passion for volleyball and has been playing for 14 years. He has experience at the Men’s AA level as an outside hitter and setter.

Nick has coached volleyball for several years. He coached for 1 year as an Assistant Coach at NDSCS, for 2 years he was an Assistant Coach at Northern Cass high school, and was the Assistant Coach at MSUM (2 years).  He is currently the Assistant Coach at Crookston. Nick also has 12 years of club coaching experience.

In his free time Nick enjoys golfing and fishing and spending time with his wife and 3 kids.

A few other fun facts about Nick: his favorite number is 23, he has a dog named Homer, and in his own words, has a “slightly unhealthy relationship with candy and Mountain Dew”.

Sarah Petrbok
Assistant Coach for team 15-Pete. 

Coach Sarah is from Addison, IL and has been playing volleyball for 11 years. She played for the club Sports Performance, and was on Varsity for 4 years in high school where she was a captain for 3 years. Throughout high school, Sarah was also a 3 time All-Conference player, a 3 time team MVP, and an All-State honorable mention selection as well as an All-Area selection in 2016. She is currently a redshirt Senior at MSUM and plays for Coach Bob. Sarah plays outside and libero.

Sarah has previously coached for Addison Park District, Red River Infinity (2 years), and Summit (3 years).

She enjoys hiking, skiing, camping, working out, and spending time with family and friends.

More about Sarah: she has 4 siblings, 2 brothers and 2 sisters. Her older brother lives and works in Chicago, her younger brother is currently deployed in Jordan for the Air Force, and her two younger sisters are still in high school. The older of the two is involved in theater and the youngest currently plays volleyball at Sports Performance.

morgan cleveland
Assistant Coach for team 16-Nick. 

Coach Morgan is from Canby, MN and currently attends MSUM where she plays for Coach Bob as a setter and defensive specialist.

Before becoming a coach for Summit (2 years), Morgan coached at Canby Juniors for 2 years.

In her free time, Morgan likes to cook, read, and spend time with friends and family. Her favorite color is purple, she has 2 dogs, and was a lifeguard for 5 years.

Her favorite quote is: "Failure is not the opposite of success, it's a part of it."

Pete Tomhave
Club Director and Head Coach for team 15-Pete. 

Coach Pete is from Fargo, ND. He has played 23 years competitively for indoors Men's AA as an outside and setter. Pete also played beach volleyball on various mini tours and across the upper midwest, Canada and Northern California.

He has coached men's club for 6 seasons and has been a coach for 9 seasons with Summit. Pete has coached 2 teams that qualified for the USAV National Tournament. He has also been the director of Summit for 8 years.

In his free time, Pete likes going to the lake with the family, hunting upland birds with his small munsterlander named Kade, golfing and fishing.

Fun fact about Pete: He has ruptured both of his achilles tendons (ouch), met his wife playing volleyball, and loves to grow various hot peppers and find interesting ways to use them.

Natalie Tomhave
Assistant Coach for team 15-Pete. 

Coach Natalie is from Fargo, ND and is currently residing in Minneapolis, MN. She played for Davies High School, the University of St. Thomas, and played for Summit for 5 years. Natalie also had the opportunity to play for USAV High Performance for 4 years in high school where she culminated her experience playing on the A1 level team before her senior year. She has been playing volleyball for 11 years. She has played every position but specialized as a right side hitter.

Natalie has been coaching for Summit for 6 years as an Assistant Coach for Coach Pete.

In her free time she enjoys discovering new music, watching movies, and cooking.

Fun fact: Coach Pete is her dad and was her coach all 5 years at Summit. She is also the webmaster for Summit.

Natalie enjoys classic rock music and her favorite song is Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen and her favorite lyric (and life mantra) is “any way the wind blows.”

Halle Erickson
Positional and float coach.

Coach Halle is from West Fargo, ND. She played varsity volleyball at West Fargo High School for 5 years, and is currently playing at MSUM. Halle played for Summit her senior year of high school. She specializes in setting and right side hitter and has been playing volleyball since she was in 3rd grade. This is Halle’s first year coaching with Summit.

Halle loves spending time with her family, including her older sister, and being at the lake.

Fun fact: Halle is a 3 time EDC Champion.
